Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Thank you for considering our puppies as your future companion. We understand that welcoming a new furry friend into your life is an exciting venture, and we want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of our policies. This overview provides essential information about our refund policy and your responsibilities as a buyer.

Refund Policy: Deposit as Nonrefundable Retainer

When you decide to reserve a puppy, a deposit is required to secure your chosen puppy until the time of the final payment and transfer of ownership. Please be aware that this deposit serves as a nonrefundable retainer, ensuring that the puppy of your choice is reserved exclusively for you. It’s important to note that this deposit, set at $500, is nonrefundable under all circumstances. Once the deposit is made, it will not be returned, regardless of the reason for canceling the purchase or the inability to complete the transaction. Your payment of the deposit serves as an acknowledgment of your intent to purchase the specified puppy.

By making a deposit for one of our puppies, you acknowledge and agree to these terms regarding the nonrefundable nature of the deposit. We encourage you to fully understand and accept these terms before making a deposit to reserve a puppy. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Buyer’s Responsibilities: Providing Proper Care

As a responsible buyer, you have certain obligations when it comes to the well-being of your new puppy. You agree to provide proper care for the puppy, which includes providing adequate nutrition, safe housing, and necessary vaccinations. We also require that you feed the puppy an approved dog food brand recommended by the seller until the puppy reaches one year of age, after which the contract terms may change.

Ownership and Care

Upon taking ownership of the puppy, you become responsible for their safety and well-being. This includes ensuring that the puppy does not run freely, create public nuisances, or experience neglect, abuse, or poor living conditions. The buyer assumes full responsibility for the puppy’s safety and overall health, and the seller is not liable for any harm caused by accidents or negligence.

Puppy Purchase and Ownership

Our puppies are intended for pet and companion purposes only. It’s important to understand that the estimated size and color of the puppy in its adulthood are provided as educated guesses and cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the information.

No Compensation for Loss or Injury

The buyer acknowledges that the seller is not responsible for compensating the buyer in the event of loss, injury, or theft of the puppy, which may occur due to various factors, including carelessness, recklessness, or abuse.

Surrender and Resale

If you find that you can no longer care for the puppy, we ask that you surrender the puppy back to the seller rather than taking it to a humane society or animal shelter. Please note that any associated shipping and transportation costs in this situation are the responsibility of the buyer. We also request that the puppy be free of communicable diseases at the time of surrender.

Health Guarantee

We provide a health guarantee for one year from the date of purchase against hereditary/genetic life-threatening defects only, such as those affecting the kidney, liver, and heart. While we take responsible precautions to ensure the health of our puppies, it’s essential to understand that some conditions are not covered by this guarantee.

Excluded Conditions:

Conditions listed on the accompanying health record are excluded from the guarantee. This means that we do not cover injuries occurring after delivery, common ailments such as hypoglycemia, worms, or other treatable conditions. Additionally, any conditions that are listed on the health record are not part of our guarantee.

Veterinary Examination:

As part of your responsibility as a buyer, you agree to have the puppy examined by your veterinarian at your expense within three days from the date of possession. It is important that the puppy receives a thorough examination by your veterinarian within this timeframe. If, for any reason, your veterinarian does not provide a clean bill of health within this three-day period, you must notify the seller immediately.

The seller also reserves the right to have the puppy reexamined by a veterinarian of their choice at their expense. Please note that minor, correctable, or breed-related conditions are not covered by our guarantee.

Dispute Resolution:

In the event of any disputes arising from this contract, we require that both parties seek resolution through mediation. It is essential to understand that disputes should under no circumstances be taken to court. Mediation is the preferred method of conflict resolution, and any associated costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Purpose and Use:

We want to emphasize that the puppy is sold exclusively as a pet and not for any other purpose. It should not be used for illegal or immoral activities. Breeding the puppy for any form of mass production is strictly prohibited. The primary purpose of our puppies is to provide loving companionship to their owners, and we appreciate your understanding of and adherence to this policy.
