CAVAPOO PUPPIES QUALITIES & HEALTH EXPECTANCY
The low-shedding Cavapoo is a great companion dog whose small stature makes him a perfect fit for apartment dwellers, seniors, and singles who like to include their pooch in all things social. A gentle nature means this indoor dog is a terrific family pet that does well with older kids who can be taught to appreciate his smaller size. Longer, floppy ears mean this breed can be prone to ear infections and regular cleaning is essential. Similarly, his teeth should be brushed regularly - daily if you can - with a vet-approved pet toothpaste. Small dogs are especially prone to periodontal disease.
CAVAPOO SHEDDING & ALLERGIES
Cavapoos usually have short, soft, and wavy coats. They require weekly brushing; although, they are somewhat less prone to shedding, which is why some allergy sufferers do well with them. The more percentage of Poodle the better for no shedding and allergies. A first generation cavapoo is 50% Cavalier and 50% Poodle they will likely still have some shedding as a result of the higher percentage of cavalier.
When you get to the second generation cavoodle they are typically called an F1B. An F1B is the child of an F1 Cavapoo and a Poodle. An F1B Cavapoodle has 75% Poodle and 25% Cavalier.
The poodle's coat is what makes the cava doodle hypoalergenic and non-shedding. So having an F1B Cavapoo that has 75% poodle, you are going to have less shedding than you would typically have with an F1 Cavoodle.
An F1BB Cavapoo is the child of an F1B Cavapoo and a Poodle. An F1BB Cavapoo will have 87.5% Poodle and 12.5% Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
These Cavapoo puppies are even less likely to shed than the F1B, but both are considered to be ideal when looking for a puppy that is hypoalergenic.
F2B Teacup Cavapoo puppies are the second generation from an F1B Cavapoo and another Cavapoo.
These teacup cavoodles are sometimes also referred to as Multigen or Multigenerational Cavapoos. All this means is that the Cavoodle was born to a parent that was also a Cava doodle. In Conclusion, if you're looking for a puppy that will have little to no-shedding, be extremely smart, fairly easy to train, etc... then looking for an F1B Micro Cavapoo or an F2B Teacup Cavapoo would be ideal!
How Big Do Cavapoo Dogs Get?
As a mix between Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle parents, you can expect Cavapoos to be small to medium, depending on the size of the Poodle parent. Most cavapoo puppies weigh in at 9 to 25 pounds and range in height from 9 to 14 inches at the shoulder. That said, many can be smaller or larger. A Mini Cavapoo ranges from 15-30 lbs, while a Teacup Cavapoo is estimated to be between 7 and 15 lbs. Our Toy Cavapoo puppies are estimated to be between 10-20 lbs. Micro Cava doodle puppies are estimated to be between 5-10 lbs fully grown.
Our Teacup Cavapoos as well as our Micro Cavapoo puppies are from top quality lines. Cavoodle puppies make great pets as they are extremely intelligent, non-shedders, and hypoallergenic. Our Mini Cavadoodle puppies, and Teacup Cavoodles are sensitive, loyal and affectionate. Teacup and Micro Cavapoos are among the smallest of the Doodles. They are estimated to be about 5-15 pounds and only 15 inches tall fully grown. All of our Teacup Cavoodles begin litterbox training at about 3-4 weeks, as well as crate training. We do our best to bring you a puppy you'll love even before bringing them home.

Teacup Cavapoo Puppies
We get asked alot if there are more health problems with Teacup or Micro Cavapoos, because of the father being a Mini or Toy Poodle. Mini and Teacup Cavapoos are generally actually healthier! What most people don't know is that all small and toy breeds originally were bred down in size from larger dogs. Teacup Cavapoo Puppies actually have less health problems, and typically live longer. The smaller Cava poos such as the Mini Cavapoo have less health problems because they share less of the same bad genetic traits. In fact that's true about most dogs; smaller dogs generally live longer than larger dogs.
