Micro Cockapoo, Teacup Cockapoo & Toy Cockapoo Puppies
If you love cocker spaniels but are looking for dogs that don't shed; then you are looking for a mini cockapoo, teacup cockapoo, or toy cockapoo puppy! Cockapoo puppies are completely people-oriented, extremely intelligent and have a very friendly and cheerful personality. They are so sweet you'll never be left without a friend! Toy Cockapoo puppies are known for being affectionate family dogs that love their owner or family. They are considered very social animals and do well with others; both people and pets. They're happy running around an agility course, showing off their tricks to company, being snuggled as a therapy dog, or just hanging out on your lap.
Mini Cockapoo's are a designer dog breed resulting from a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle. Although the Mini Cockapoo breed is not recognized by the AKC, they have become a very popular dog in a relatively short period of time. Toy Cockapoo puppies can live much longer than the larger Standard or Maxi Cockapoo. The average Mini or Teacup Cockapoo life expectancy ranges anywhere from 13 to 16 years, with some living as long as 20 years. Being a hybrid breed, Teacup Cockapoos can also have coats that encompass the broad range of coat colors, providing all kinds of beautiful coats for you to love and snuggle with daily!

Are Cockapoo's Good Family Dogs
A Cockapoo is a cross between the Cocker Spaniel and the Poodle. It is most often bred to a Toy Poodle or a Miniature Poodle. When a Cocker Spaniel is bred to a Standard Poodle it is called a Maxi Cockapoo. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed.

Do Cockapoos have health problems
As with all purebred dog breeds, both Cocker Spaniels and Poodles have certain genetic inherited health issues. A Cockapoo puppy should come from parents that have both been health tested. At Mini Doodle Dogs we health test all our parents before breeding to ensure we'll have healthy puppies! The lifespan of a Toy Cockapoo, Mini Cockapoo, or Teacup is typically around 10-15 years; however, it depends upon several factors, including weight, activity level, diet, and overall lifestyle. Also, size at adulthood can be a factor. For example, smaller dogs tend to live longer than larger dogs.
